About the conference
The seventh edition of the international online conference „Clean Energy for People“ will be held between 12.03 and 14.03. The main organizer Environmental Association Za Zemiata, Friends of the Earth Bulgaria and CEE Bankwatch Network are joining forces in order to bring this engaging event to reality.
This edition focuses on the efforts and challenges of renovating the single-family building stock of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as accelerating the development of clean heating on an individual and district scale. One stop shops, support schemes and financial instruments, energy poverty, as well as, local cooling and heating plans will be at the forefront of the discussions. We will take a look at European and national policies, as well as household-oriented financial incentives and subsidies.
We will highlight good scalable examples from across Europe on making the transition to a clean, affordable, inclusive, energy efficient, and circular future of the dwellings we inhabit in CEE. The conference is not just a talk-shop; it’s a dynamic platform for experts and decision-makers to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities in Europe’s mission to decarbonise buildings and heating.
